Gubernatorial Appointee and Board Director with two decades of federal construction experience, including constructing the U.S. Embassies in Israel, Baghdad, London, Frankfurt, Haiti, China, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Swaziland and many more.
Omar is currently President of International and Domestic Affairs and Owner at Steel Fabrication Exponents, as well as AIM Steel International Corporation, where he has been very successful at working with states and municipalities on construction regulations and creating diversity and inclusion for socially and economically disadvantaged businesses.
He serves in various appointee and board directorship positions at the Georgia State Board of General and Residential Construction, Steel Institute of Development and Growth, Unity Bank of Georgia and State of Georgia Minority Businesses Board.
Mr. Ali’s expertise is in achieving economic success by fostering and mentoring small minority businesses and acquiring contracts with the federal government.
Omar has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Law, as well as extensive experience with strategic planning, real estate development, steel manufacturing, construction management, contract negotiation, diversity and inclusion, mentorship, government & community affairs, fiduciary oversight and board governance.
