Omar Ali is a Gubernatorial Appointee and Board Director with over two decades of global construction leadership. He played a key role in building U.S. Embassies in Israel, Baghdad, London, Frankfurt, Haiti, China, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Swaziland, and beyond.
As the Past Owner and President of Steel Fabrication Exponents and AIM Steel International Corporation, Mr. Ali worked extensively with states and municipalities on construction regulations while advancing diversity and inclusion for disadvantaged businesses.
Today, he serves as President of Ali Development LLC, leading transformative real estate projects that revitalize communities and expand opportunities for small businesses.
His board service includes the Georgia State Board of General and Residential Construction (appointed by Governor Brian Kemp), the Steel Institute of Development and Growth, the State of Georgia Minority Businesses Board, and the Georgia Council for International Visitors.
Most notably, he was appointed by Governor Kemp to the Georgia World Congress Center Authority Board, overseeing more than $2 billion in state assets and guiding an institution that drives nearly $2 billion in annual economic impact for Georgia.
Mr. Ali holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and brings deep expertise in real estate development, strategic planning, steel manufacturing, construction management, contract negotiation, mentorship, diversity and inclusion, government affairs, and board governance.
